Francesca Battistelli received a RIAA Gold certificate for her debut album My Paper Heart.

According to http://www.francescamusic.com, Francesca Battistelliwas surprised with the honor prior to her performance at Disney’s “Night of Joy,” when Rod Riley and Josh Bailey of Word Entertainment presented her with the RIAA Gold certificate.
Francesca Battistelli comments a magical evening at Magic Kingdom with excitement, “I was in total shock. I had no idea this was coming. This has been a dream of mine and to have this happen at Disney World in front of my wonderful fans, my family and my record company…It truly couldn’t have been more magical. I feel so incredibly blessed and will remember this night forever!”
