Bishop T.D. Jakes of the 30,000-member Dallas, Texas megachurch The Potter’s House is hosting the 20th anniversary of his popular women’s conference “Woman, Thou Art Loosed!” which is expected to bring together more than 25,000 women from all over the world.

The event will take place at the Phillips Arena in Atlanta on October 4-6, 2012, and will feature several prominent church speakers besides Jakes, including his wife, First Lady Serita Jakes, Pastor Sheryl Brady, the campus pastor of The Potter’s House of North Dallas, best-selling author and speaker Dr. Cindy Trimm of Trimm International, and Pastor Paula White, one of the most popular women preachers in America.

The annual three-day conference will feature discussion on women’s role in society, and will teach women “how they can use their strengths, gifts and abilities to overcome any obstacle to transform their lives in a positive and exciting way,” a press release states.

The event is named after the popular T.D. Jakes book by the same name which is also coming out with a 20th anniversary edition. The popular pastor writes about different difficult experiences women go through, including trauma, abuse, distress, but says there is a solution for every trouble. T.D. Jakes also has a role in the 2004 movie of the same name based on his book.

Musical guests for the Atlanta conference will be Grammy Award winner Ann Nesby, Joy Hill, Gaye Arbuckle and “The Woman Thou Art Loosed” Praise Team. Additionally, the winner of the next big gospel music star contest on Facebook organized by Jakes will get the opportunity to perform before the audience at the conference.

Building up on previous years, this year’s theme will be focused on Pastor Sheryl Brady’s book You Have It In You!: Empowered to do the Impossible, which is being released on Oct. 2, and features encouragement for readers to embrace their gifts and live a purposeful life.

“Believe [in God] for the impossible, the unimaginable, the unobtainable, and the incurable,” writes Brady in an excerpt of the book. “Each time we trust him with another layer of our lives, we discover more of the buried treasure of our true identities.”

A live stream of the 20th anniversary of “Woman, Thou Art Loosed!” will be available on the official website of the conference starting Oct. 4.
