Award-winning gospel recording artist Ami Rushes expands her talent and authors her first book, Monday Manna: Spiritual Nuggets to Start Your Week, with foreword by Bishop Charles E. Blake, and distributed through Westbow Press.
“Monday Manna: Spiritual Nuggets to Start Your Week started out as a weekly blog on my Facebook and website pages,” says Rushes. “Inspirational short chapters to help you start your week. As the weeks progressed and many Monday Mannas were written, God spoke to me one day while driving up to a park, and said in that still small voice, “Turn Monday Manna into a book.”
Out of obedience to the Lord, Rushes did just that with the motivation to bless, uplift and give readers something to put into practice as they go about their week—52 segments of inspirational devotions equipping the reader with a years worth of spiritual nuggets.
“Monday Manna: Spiritual Nuggets to Start Your Week is a wonderful tool of healing and uplift. It is Word-focused and Christ-centered and it is also very practical. Ami’s love for people and compassion for the hurting are communicated quite beautifully on every page. She ministers to the reader with simplicity, clarity, and insight,” says Bishop Charles E. Blake, Sr.
Rushes hopes the book will continue to spread Christ’s good news offering spiritual happiness and hope beyond the reader’s circumstance. “I think people need to be uplifted, healed and delivered,” she exclaims.
As with all her endeavors Ami Rushes Ministries will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sales of her book to Save Africa’s Children, an organization that provides support to over 160 orphanages throughout sub-Saharan Africa, founded by her pastor, Bishop Charles E. Blake, Sr., of the West Angeles Church of God in Christ in Los Angeles, California.
“Monday Manna: Spiritual Nuggets to Start Your Week is a labor of love, and I pray the reader will be encouraged…I love you. God loves you,” Ami.
