October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, We are launching the 5th annual Purple Light Nights® awareness campaign and we want you to be a part of it! The Purple Light Nights Campaign engages residents of Cuyahoga County to promote the message that domestic violence has no place in our community. Individuals, businesses and public institutions will be invited to shine a purple light on the outside of their homes and facilities to remember domestic violence homicide victims, to celebrate the courage of those who have survived, and to draw attention to those who are still living with violence.
Your participation with this campaign helps to begin discussions about the impact of domestic violence on our community and shows your commitment to ending violence in intimate relationships.
* Join Praise 1300am on Thursday October 25th as we walk the Detroit /Superior Bridge in support of Purple Light Night..The walk will begin at 6pm
