The Thurgood Marshall College Fund is proud to announce the selection of BeBe and CeCe Winans as co-hosts of the 25th Anniversary Awards Gala at the Hilton New York on October 29, 2012. Corporate, civic and community leaders from across the country are expected to be in attendance, as well as celebrity guests.

The Gala is the culminating event of the 12th Annual Leadership Institute and Career Fair, October 26 – 30, 2012, at the Hilton New York. Over 60 Fortune 500 companies and government agencies, as well as 500 selected students are expected to be in attendance. This conference is made possible through the support of various corporate sponsors including the Presenting Sponsor, Wells Fargo.

Bebe and CeCe Winans are Detroit natives and a brother and sister duo that come from a long lineage of Gospel legends, The Winans. BeBe and CeCe have received various awards and accolades individually and as a duo. As a duo, they received three Grammy Awards, seven Dove Awards, two NAACP Image awards, two Soul Train Music Awards, numerous Stellar Awards, two Gold Albums and three Platinum Albums.

Their most recent album Still, released in 2009, was their most recent collaboration in more than 15 years. The album’s lead single was “Close to You”. Still won two Grammy Awards: Best Gospel Performance (the song “Grace”) and Best Gospel R&B Album.

“We are excited to have the opportunity for two of the most talented and accomplished Gospel artists in the country to serve as hosts for the TMCF 25th Anniversary Awards Gala. I am positive their presence will make the night more memorable,” said TMCF’s President and CEO, Johnny C. Taylor, Jr.
