“We anticipate that in light of the circumstances, many families will be grateful that we are open and able to provide a safe, caring place for their children as parents return to work,” said school CEO Eric Gordon, in a news release on Tuesday.
“By opening the majority of our schools, even as we restore power in 23 of our facilities, our families remain in charge of their own decisions and can choose to keep their children home or send them to school as best meets their needs and circumstances,” Gordon said.
