Galatians 6:10 tells us, “So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.” Christian recording artist, Mandisa, is doing something very goodfor recovering Good Morning America co-anchor, Robin Roberts, by starting a scrapbook of prayers just for her.

As you may well know, the well-loved Christian media personality underwent a bone marrow transplant in September to treat MDS, a bone marrow disorder that affects blood cells production. The donor cells from Robin’s sister, Sally-Ann, were injected into her system and so far, things appear to be going well.

But Roberts has lots of recovering left to do and has made no secret of the fact that she needs plenty of prayer.

Her pleas certainly have not fallen on deaf ears.

They were heard loud and clear by Grammy-nominated singer Mandisa, who met Roberts back in August when she performed her hit song “Good Morning” on GMA with Toby Mac. Two days after the two connected, Roberts took her medical leave.

And when Mandisa heard this message from Roberts below, it sparked somethng in her:

“I know it is your prayers and warm thoughts that have gotten me this far.  I truly feel them each and every day.  I humbly ask that you please continue to send them until you see me back at the GMA anchor desk and I promise to send them right back at ya.”

According to Mandisa’s personal blog, “That’s when it hit me! Let’s send her a scrapbook of written prayers!”–something she is asking others to help her do.

In order to participate in this special project, participants will need to submit the personal prayer they pray for Robin Roberts in a single paragraph.
