The Celebration of Life services for former Sunday Best finalist and gospel recording artist Dontavies Boatwright were announced today, November 12. Memorial services have been set for Friday and Saturday, November 16 and 17 in Jacksonville, Florida. More details will be announced in the near future.

Boatwright died last week at age 33. It has been reported that the singer died of an apparent heart attack. The baritone appeared on Season 2 of BET’s Sunday Best and was an audience favorite. He recently released the single “Glory to Glory-Sunday Best Medley” in September. He had plans to release his debut album in 2013.
