Charges have been filed against the mother of a 3-year-old Cleveland boy found dead in a landfill earlier this week.

A spokesman for Cleveland Municipal Court said 20-year-old Camilia Terry has been charged with one count of aggravated murder. Her son, Emilliano Terry, was found wrapped in multiple plastic bags at a landfill site in Bedford Monday.

Cleveland police plan to hold a news conference at 11 a.m. Wednesday to release new information in the case. NewsChannel5 is working to bring it live on newsnet5.com and our newsnet5 apps (check back just before 11 a.m. for a link).

Deputy Chief Edward Tomba and Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner Dr. Gilson will be at the news conference. It is expected that Emilliano’s cause of death will be revealed.

Camilia Terry reported her son missing Sunday evening, saying he disappeared while at a playground on Cleveland’s east side. After an initial search of the area, police and FBI agents tracked down a garbage truck that was spotted nearby and had the contents of the truck put aside for search purposes.
