The Cuyahoga County prosecutor announced late Tuesday that a 10-page indictment against Camilia Terry was handed down by a grand jury for the death of her 3-year-old son Emilliano.

The indictment states between Nov. 20 and Nov. 26, the 20-year-old mother of three purposely caused the death of Emilliano. She’s facing aggravated murder, gross abuse of a corpse and other charges.

On Nov. 25, Camilia reported her son missing from Kossuth Park, spurring a search that got federal investigators involved.

One day later, the little boy’s body was found at a waste processing site in Oakwood Village in a duffel bag. Camilia was arrested and then charged with the gruesome crime.

Earlier Tuesday, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office said Emilliano died from blunt force trauma to his head, torso, arms and legs.

Camilia is also charged with endangering children, felonious assault, tampering with evidence and making false alarms.

An arraignment date has not yet been scheduled.
