The 14th Annual BMI Trailblazers of Gospel Music Awards Luncheon is set to take place on Friday, January 18th, 2013 at the Rocketown in downtown, Nashville, TN. The first class, awe-inspiring worship service will honor some of the top legends of Gospel music. The invitation-only event attracts gospel music’s premier songwriters, brightest stars and leading executives.
Set to be honored are Edwin Hawkins, the indelible force behind the evolution of contemporary Gospel, Lady Tramaine Hawkins, a Grammy Award-winning gospel artist, and Kurt Carr, a wordsmith whose songs are essential to Sunday morning church. He three will also be honored with performances by an assembly of anointed musicians (who are to be announced). Gospel luminaries CeCe Winans and Donnie McClurkin will host the prestigious event.
