Millions worldwide are still reeling from news that 20 children and 6 adults were murdered during the Sandy Hook Massacre in Newtown, Conn.

Gospel artist Kevin LeVar is relying on the power of music to offer some comfort.

While no one  knows exactly how to ease the pain of survivors, family members, and community residents who were left shattered after the second-deadliest mass shooting in American history, God-led leaders like LeVar are discovering divinely-inspired ways to minister to our nation at such a critical period.

“I can’t imagine the pain the families and community of Newtown, Connecticut must feel,” said LeVar in a statement available in its entirety on his website. “When President Obama addressed our nation with the words, ‘You are not alone,’ I realized that the message of this song is still needed by a nation in need of healing.”

Upon its original release, “You Are Not Alone” shot to #1 on GMC and earned a GMC Video Award “Best Video” nomination following the release of LeVar’s debut album, Let’s Come Together.
