Lozada later married and divorced professional football player Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson after he head-butted her during an argument.
  • Jada Pinkett-Smith and her husband Will have been battling divorce rumors since 2011. Pinkett-Smith told Essence Magazine that the gossip has tested her faith much like Job’s faith was tested in the Bible. When asked if she was bitter, Pinkett-Smith told the magazine, “No. Because here’s the thing. Think about how blessed I am. Like, that’s part of the laws of the universe.”

  • Virginia native Gabby Gabrielle Douglas became America’s sweetheart after she became the first African-American woman to ever win the gold medal in Women’s Gymnastics All-Around competition in the 2012 summer Olympics.
