Fans of the Jackson 5 are in for a special treat. The Saturday morning cartoon inspired by the beloved black boy band is finally coming to DVD and blu ray.
The Jackson 5ive was produced by Rankin/Bass and Motown and aired on ABC from 1971 to 1972, during the peak of the group’s popularity.
Although the animated Jacksons were not voiced by Michael Jackson and his brothers, the series did feature their hit singles.
Now, Dreamworks Classics is making all 23 full-length episodes of the cult classic available for the first time.
Jackson 5ive: The Complete Animated Series will be released on January 15th of this year.
