Nashville‘s Trinity Music City will be the site January 17 of an extra special live taping of Trinity Broadcasting Network’s signature music and talk show Praise the Lord with Grammy Award-winning host Donnie McClurkin. Both host and guests are in town for the 28th annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards, January 19 at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House, so inspiring and entertaining gospel music will be the main course at this special edition of TBN’s Praise the Lord program.

Donnie McClurkin, a popular pastor and speaker in the New York City metro, has been a leading force in gospel music for the past sixteen years. In a career that spans singing, worship leading, song writing, and producing, not only has he garnered three Grammys, but has also won an amazing ten Stellar awards, two BET awards, two Soul Train awards, one Dove award, and a special NAACP Image award for his work in gospel, inspirational, and worship music.

Joining Donnie for this special night of TBN Praise will be a stage-full of popular and award-winning gospel singers, songwriters, and groups including, Grammy Award winning worship leader Israel Houghton, gospel jazz stylist Kim Burrell, Grammy and Dove Award winner Tramaine Hawkins, Anthony Brown and Group Therapy, Rance Allen, Tasha Cobbs, Charles Jenkins, Anita Wilson, Smokie Norful, and Kurt Carr.

Gospel music has played such an integral role in the ministry of Trinity Broadcasting Network over the past 40 years, said TBN Vice President Matt Crouch. We are honored to have this lineup of gospel music greats and popular artists at Trinity Music City. This is going to be a special night of praise and worship.

Admission to the January 17 live taping of TBN’s Praise the Lord at Nashville’s Trinity Music City is free to the public, with 1,500 seats available. Doors open at 6 p.m. (Central Time) and the program begin’s at 7 p.m.
