The McGhee Sextuplets first captured the hearts of America after an online photo went viral and the entire family appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Showin 2011.
Now the McGhee family has allowed viewers a glimpse into their often chaotic, always love-filled lives on their hit reality show Six Little McGhees. The series originally debuted on OWN just weeks ago, and is currently being re-aired on OWN’s sister network Discovery Fit & Health.
Mia and Rozonno own a carpet cleaning business in Columbus, Ohio, which helps them provide for their six growing toddlers, Josiah, Madison, Olivia, Issac, Rozonno Jr. and Elijah.
During an interview with theGrio’s Chris Witherspoon, Mia and Rozonno opened up about the financial strain of making ends meet with such a large family.
“It’s not getting easier,” Rozonno said. “But I think because of the show and being on the Oprah Winfrey Show… we got a lot of referrals.”
“We can’t forget that Oprah gave us a huge plug,” Mia admitted. “She said if you live in Columbus, Ohio and need your carpets cleaned, call this man. And it changed my life, and now we have a show on OWN.”
