The United States Navy selected Cleveland to host the 2010 Navy Week Celebration.
Cleveland is one of 19 cities the Navy chose for the event this year. It gives people an opportunity to meet sailors and learn about the Navy’s mission.
Navy Week begins Monday and goes through September 6. The Navy is planning several events, including a show with the Navy Leap Frogs Parachute Team, the Navy band musical performances, dive demonstrations, flight simulations, and school visits.
The Blue Angels are headlining Navy Week, and they will perform at the Cleveland National Air Show from September 4 through 6.
