The football star who shot to fame because of his role in the hit film ‘The Blind Side’ now has another title to his name after his team won the Super Bowl.

Michael Oher had a roster of supporters watching him as he and the Ravens won the Super Bowl Sunday night, as both his on-screen mom actress Sandra Bullock was in the stands along with the Trohy family, who adopted him in high school and helped lead him to both academic and athletic success.

‘I came so far from nothing to a Super Bowl champion. I’m in shock right now!’ he told Good Morning America’s Josh Elliott.

‘We won the Super Bowl!’ adoptive mother Leigh Ann Tuohy said as she was excitedly celebrating on the field alongside 26-year-old Michael.

Oher bounced between foster homes in Memphis before Sean and Leigh Ann Tuohy took him into their home and eventually became his legal parents, but that did not cut off his connection to his troubled roots in the poorer parts of the Tennessee city.

‘North Memphis/Hurt Village/Dixie Homes to a Super Bowl champion dreams do come true!!!!!!’ he tweeted moments after the win Sunday night.

His biological mother Denise Oher was the guest of honor at a Super Bowl watch party in downtown Memphis, and she credited his success to God.

‘I’m proud of him. I love him and I’m going to give God all that praise for his success,’ Denise Oher told local station Fox 19.

‘I’m excited, I’ve been excited since they won. I knew he was going to be successful in sports.’
