It was the Twitter shot heard around the world when R&B singer Keyshia Cole insulted gospel singer and Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams, after her Super Bowl Halftime performance, which Cole viewed as a less-than-stellar.
But Williams, who was rumored to have sent a mean-spirited reply tweet, is clearing the air and shooting down those claims.
“I’m Destiny’s Child. You’re Frankie’s Child. Do the math,” was the snarky response attributed to Williams and re-tweeted multiple times.
During the feeding frenzy, social networking accounts lit up, giving Williams virtual high-fives for sending out the zinger.
But Williams, during a Feb. 18 interview with Chicago’s V103 midday radio host Kelly Mac, said the she never actually sent the below the belt e-blow poking fun at Cole’s family issues.
