Bobbi Kristina Brown turned 20 on Monday and recently revealed her prayers in a letter to her late mother Whitney Houston.

Brown took to her Instagram account to reveal some of the prayers for her life while writing a message to her mother.

“I pray I’m growing into the phenomenal woman you always knew I’d become mommy, I love you and miss you immensely and I always will,” the 20-year-old wrote on her social networking account. “You are my heart. You are my life. You are my everything.”

“You are my motivation. You are me. I am you,” she wrote. “We are one. Forever and always. I love you my lady.”

Last year, Brown and her family starred in the reality television show “The Houstons: On Our Own.” While audiences speculated about Brown’s use of alcohol and her relationship with family friend Nick Gordon who Houston took in at 16-years-old, her aunt Pat Houston insisted that she was being loved despite the loss of her mother.

Pat, the wife of the late singer’s brother Gary Houston, appeared on the SiriusXM! radio show “Sway in the Morning” last year where she dished about Brown while clearing up some misconceptions that have been surfacing in the media.

“She has had issues as it relates to alcohol that were here even before her mother passed. She’s gone through a great deal, but she’s growing up,” Houston said on the radio show. “She understands what that could do to her. But myself and the family have to understand what she’s going through.”

According to Houston, her family was taking certain measures to ensure that Bobbi Kristina is staying on the right path.

“We have to be patient with her and continue to mentor her and try to lead and guide her in the right direction so she won’t end up being an alcoholic or won’t end up using substance abuse,” Houston said on the radio show. “Just like any other parent we have to stay in the game and keep up with that.”
