West Virginia – A statewide Amber Alert has been issued for an endangered teen mom and her infant daughter.

According to police, Shaina Nicole Tenney, 16, and Grace Hope Tenney, 7 months, are missing from Rock Cave, Upshur County, West Virginia.

The two were last seen Tuesday, March 12 and are believed to be in the company of Shaina’s step-father, Margel F. Tenney, 57. According to West Virginia State Police, the trio traveled to Webster County, West Virginia where Margel Tenney picked up a third passenger, James Tenney. The group of four then traveled to a gas station in Belington, where troopers believe Margel Tenney traded his red Dodge Dually for a tan 2003 Ford Taurus with a West Virginia license plate of 2LW179. Witnesses tell troopers Margel Tenney claimed he was headed to the state of Texas, but it has been reported that the suspect’s vehicle may haven been seen crossing into Ohio on Interstate 77 around 9 p.m.

Shaina Tenney is described as a white female, standing five foot two inches tall, weighing 225 pounds with black hair and hazel eyes. Grace Tenney is a white female. She’s two feet two inches tall, weighing 19 pounds, with black hair and blue eyes. Margel Tenney is a white male, six feet eight inches tall, weighing 185 pounds, with blue eyes.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Grace, Shaina, or Margel Tenney is asked to call the Ohio Missing Children Clearinghouse at 1-877-AMBER-OH (262-3764) or the West Virginia State Police Buckhannon detachment at 304-473-4200.
