1. 3 Hurt After LED Screen Collapses

A section of a large, LED screen collapsed, injuring two workers who were preparing for this weekend’s Ultra Music Festival in Miami. One worker is in critical condition.

2. 2 Missing After Pulling Boy From River

The local fire department in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is attempting to rescue two adults who jumped into water filled with thick sea foam near the waterfall to rescue a 6-year-old boy who had fallen in. The boy was rescued but the search for the adults is ongoing.

3. Second Carnival Cruise Ship Having Trouble at Sea

The Carnival Legend is the latest ship from the cruise line to have mechanical problems, this time affecting the ship’s sailing speed on the final leg of a Caribbean trip. This is in addition to the Carnival Dream, which is currently stranded in St. Marteen.

4. Dreamliner Flights to Resume ‘in Weeks’

The CEO of Boeing said at a press conference Thursday that Dreamliner commercial flights will likely resume in “weeks,” not months, as has been reported. A detailed presentation laid out the fixes to the faulty 787 planes and reiterated that a fire did not occur onboard past flights in Boston or Japan.
