The City of Cleveland held a briefing Tuesday to discuss safety and security preparedness.

City leaders answered questions about local security and what’s being done about it.

Federal and local top cops had this message: “We don’t know of a threat to Cleveland but we’re ready just in case.”

The mayor, along top police brass, say they’re always revising security plans and they may revise plans for the upcomingCleveland Marathon after they learn more about what happened in Boston.

They say expect more security downtown Tuesday night for the Indians against Boston game, and next week a big practice drill with the Indians and the ballpark in case something bad ever did happen here.

Police stress that he drill had long been planned and it’s not happening as a response top what we just saw in Boston.

Police also stressed they need to hear from you anytime you see something out of place.
