LOCAL NEWS: Cleveland Heights-University Heights Schools ToLay Off 42 Teachers

The Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District will lay off 42 teachers at the end of this school year.
The board of education approved the measure on Tuesday, and will review reductions in support and administration staff in May.
“Reducing staff will align our staffing numbers with the needs of the student population being served,” Superintendent Doug Heuer said.
