Sherri Shepherd’s got a new gig, this time doing her comedic thing. The talk show host is set to star in “NickMom Night Out,” a standup comedy series that has comics making jokes about their experiences with parenthood. NickMom has ordered 23 episodes of the comedy showcase. In addition to her new series, the comedienne has also released a new book called “Plan D: How to Lose Weight and Beat Diabetes (Even If You Don’t Have It)” (HarperCollins Publishers). The book just landed on The New York Times Bestsellers List.
*According to a new Reader’s Digest poll released Tuesday, ‘GMA’ co-host Robin Roberts is the most trusted news anchor. Reader’s Digest polled 1,000 Americans on the trustworthiness of 200 public figures. Roberts was the most trusted television host, coming in at no. 12 on the list with 56% of Americans saying they trust her.
