Officials have confirmed at least 91 people have been killed in the Moore tornado Monday.
The medical examiner’s office confirmed at least 233 people have been injured.
That number is expected to rise as recovery efforts continue Tuesday morning and daylight arrives.
Here are a few ways to help the tornado victims:
- You can make a donation through The Salvation Army by texting “storm” to 80888 to make a $10 donation.
- The Red Cross says the best way to assist families is to make a donation to http://www.redcross.org/okc or http://www.redcross.org or texting REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
- United Way of Central Oklahoma’s Disaster Relief Fund is open. Donations may be made online at http://www.unitedwayokc.org or by mail to United Way of Central Oklahoma, P.O. Box 837, Oklahoma City, OK 73101 with notation for May Tornado Relief.
