The storms Tuesday evening and into Wednesday morning moved through and brought along some damage.

First Energy said there were about 12,000 widely scattered power outages in Northeast Ohio Tuesday, but by Wednesday morning, power had been restored to all but 500 residents. The outages ranged from Littly Italy to Geauga County.

The Thompson Township Fire Department was called to a home on Thompson Road in Geauga County for a tree that fell on a house and caused a fire.
