Although gospel is only a blip at these annual events, it is worth noting
who, on the Lord’s side, is nominated to receive honors.
At the 2013 BET Awards, hosted by Chris Tucker, set to air Sunday,
June 30, 2013, there are five nominees for Best Gospel Artist: Deitrick
Haddon, Lecrae, Tamela Mann, Mary Mary, and Marvin Sapp.
