Police have issued an Amber Alert for a missing 8-year-old Cleveland boy they say was taken by his non-custodial father.
The missing child, Kevin Chriss Jr., is described as 4 feet 2 inches tall and 65 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Police said he was last seen Sunday in the 3700 block of West Boulevard wearing a blue Indians T-shirt and dark blue shorts.
Police said the suspect is 36-year-old Kevin Chriss. He is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and 175 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes and a suspected Meth addict who is mentally unstable, according to authorities.
They said they are searching for a gold 2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette with the Ohio license plate FOA 3605.
The police report said the suspect took the boy from a family member stating he was taking him swimming at a hotel and also made statements that he was going to California.
