The verdict in the Trayvon Martin case has sparked many protests across the country. On Monday afternoon, a crowd of over 200 protesters gathered on the steps of the Cuyahoga County Justice Center in Cleveland to fight for their rights as U.S. citizens.

The Black on Black Crime, Inc. called for protestors to gather at noon and asked for each person to bring along a bag of Skittles.

The Skittles were used by protestors to represent that a young man lost his life over candy. Protestors took turns expressing their sorrow for the family of the lost victim and to fight for their rights as citizens.

The rally ended with the protestors marching around the steps of the Justice Center shouting for “justice” and for “Trayvon”.

After the march, the protesters threw the Skittles on the steps of the Justice Center to express their anger and to make the statement that our justice system is unfair.
