Neighbors and business owners along Cleveland’s southeast side are getting ten wireless hi-tech surveillance cameras to keep their neighborhood safer.

One of the cameras is positioned along Warner Road.

The security camera program is a collaboration between Cleveland City Councilman Zack Reed’s office, the City of Cleveland and the Slavic Village Development.

The cameras cost more than $21,000 and residents say they are happy to have them up.

There are 161 surveillance cameras in Reed’s district and he said he hopes to add more soon.
