His character Mr. Brown is the father of Madea‘s daughter Cora (wife – Tamela Mann). Mann also reprised his role as “jr. Brown” in the movies Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns and Tyler Perry’s Madea Goes to Jail. Also “Madea’s Big Happy Family”
Mann was born in Fort Worth, Texas. He is the real life husband of Tamela Mann. Mann has been married for over 24 years. Mann and his wife Tamela were members of Kirk Franklin‘s vocal ensemble “The Family” before working with Tyler Perry.
