East 9th Street will be closed to thru traffic from 6 a.m. Monday to Saturday, August 17 due to construction.
Crews will close East 9th Street from Euclid Avenue to Prospect Avenue for the continuing work associated with the rehabilitation and repaving of the East 9th Street corridor, according to the Cuyahoga County Department of Public Works.
Thru traffic will be detoured to Euclid Avenue, East 14th Street and Prospect Avenue.
Due to the usual heavy volume on East 9th Street, traffic delays are expected.
Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra time.
