It’s been a long time since Marcia Scott of Euclid updated her resume. But she’s doing it now, trying to get back into the workforce after a five-year absence.

“I just hope to find a job, full time or part time,” she said. “Probably working with food service. Maybe working  in the schools, working with the handicapped.”

Scott is getting help with her resume at Employment Connection, a joint effort of Cleveland and Cuyahoga County, where people get assistance finding jobs. Executive director Dave Reines said more than 4,000 people were placed in jobs last year.
