Cuyahoga Community College Western Campus will host a kids Bicycle Safety Day on Saturday, Aug. 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The free event for children ages 5 to 12 will teach safe bike riding habits and proper helmet fitting. While quantities last, participants will receive a free bicycle helmet.
Kids will also be able to test their biking skills on an obstacle course that focuses on steering, braking, stopping and general maneuverability.
Free fingerprinting will also be available. There will also be face painting, airbrushed tattoos, pony rides, clowns and more. While quantities last, a free hot dog or hamburger lunch will be provided.
