The holidays are three months away but Walmart is already ensuring that it will have enough workers to accommodate holiday shoppers.
The retail giant announced plans on Monday to hire 55,000 seasonal associates, along with moving 35,000 part-time workers to full-time ones, temporarily.
Gisel Ruiz, Executive Vice President of Walmart, said the move will help keep them competitive with other retailers over the holiday season.
