Heroics in the bottom of the 9th by veteran Jason Giambi led the Indians to a 5-4 win over the White Sox on Tuesday night.

What a wild affair before Giambi stepped to the plate.

The Indians struck first in the bottom of the second inning when Michael Brantley singled to shallow center field, scoring Asdrubal Cabrera.

The White Sox tied the game in the fourth inning off Jimenez when  Avisail Garcia hit a sacrifice fly to center.

The game remained tied until the top of the 7th inning when Jimenez got into a jam. He put runners on first and second with one out.

That’s when Terry Francona sent him to the showers, just short of 100 pitches for the night.

Cody Allen came in and allowed an RBI  single by Alejandro De Aza and the White Sox were in the lead, 2-1.
