Two of gospel music’s most beloved artists sat down for a televised interview on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), Tuesday, Oct. 22, live from NY. Multiple Grammy Award-winning hostess CeCe Winans welcomed Grammy and Dove Award-winning composer Richard Smallwood to the “Praise the Lord” broadcast.
During the both light-hearted and informative chat, Winans talked to the Gospel Music Hall of Famer about his “amazing” compositions, and dug into how Smallwood’s upbringing set the stage for his exceptional music ministry.
“He’s always so sharp,” she told the audience playfully when he first walked out, looking down at the 64-year-old’s fancy footwear and saying, “Now, you know normal people don’t wear shoes like that.
