After serving two years of a four year sentence, Conrad Murray was released from jail early Monday.

Murray, 60, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in November 2011 for his role in the death of Michael Jackson.

Jackson was found dead in 2009 at his rented mansion in Holmby Hills.

The coroner’s office later determined his death was caused by acute propofol intoxication.

Murray’s defense team insisted that Jackson gave himself the fatal dosage.

But the jury found that he acted with criminal negligence and contributed to Jackson’s death.
