New traffic patterns beginning on the Innerbelt today as crews prepare to open the new westbound Innerbelt bridge.
Crews will begin work on North Rocky River Dr. in Berea, between Bagley rd. and just north of Depot st. Traffic will be maintained, but drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes.
The ramps from E. 9th St. and Ontario St. will be opening to the new Westbound Innerbelt bridge this morning at 6 a.m. but be aware that you will not be able to access I-71 from the new Innerbelt bridge.
– SR 237 in Berea is closed between West st. and Baker st. due to a broken water main. Detours are posted.
Short-term work (Expected completion by the end of 2013)
- On-ramp closed: E. 14th St. to I-77 S
- I-90 E off ramp to Chester Ave. is reduced to one lane
- Off-ramp closed: Innerbelt South to Abbey Ave.
- On-ramp closed: Ontario St. to the Innerbelt South
- I-90 WB exit ramp to W. 117th St. right lane closed for barrier repair work. Closed through November 15.
Long-term work
- E. 21 St. to I-77 S
- On-ramp closed: E. 30th St. to I-77 N
- Off-ramp closed: I-490 W to I-77 N
- I-71 N at the Jennings, reduced to one lane
- Off-ramps from I-90 E to both Carnegie Ave. and E. 22nd St. scheduled to be closed
- Off-ramp closed: I-90 E to Eddy Rd.
- South W. 25th St. entrance ramp to I-71 N is closed
