So many secular stars like Nicki Minaj, Fantasia Barrino, and the legendary Aretha Franklin have strong Christian roots. The same is true of rising R&B star Tamar Braxton, 36, whose parents were pastors at one time.
In a newly published interview with Flaunt Magazine, the no-holds-barred diva who admits her mouth gets her in a whole lot of trouble, opened up about how her foundation of faith helps her to be authentically her.
“Both of my parents at one time were pastors of their own churches and I learned a lot from that,” she said. “But not until I was an adult did I understand it and know for myself.”
