In a Thursday, Nov. 14 email, the media mogul shared what his late mother Willie Maxine Perry bought him every year before she passed away at the age of 64 in December 2009. Can you guess the gift?

Every year since I’ve been successful my mother would ask me this question, “What do you want for Christmas? You are so hard to shop for.” I really didn’t want her to give me anything but she insisted.

I knew it was driving her crazy trying to figure out what to get for me, so about eight years ago I told her that all I wanted were flannel PJs. So every year for about four years she would go to Wal-Mart and buy me some flannel PJs. Every Christmas I would smile.
