Road crews are preparing for the blast of snow forecasted to move into the area on Tuesday.

A spokesman for District Four of The Ohio Department of Transportation. which covers Summit, Stark, Portage and Trumbull Counties, says about 40 crews will be on the roads throughout the day on Tuesday. They will be pre-treating the roads in the morning and be patrolling all afternoon.

Tow plows will used in Portage County on I-76. They are trucks with plows attached to them that can plow two lanes at once. ODOT advises motorists to be prepared for some of them to be out driving around 40 mph.
