If you haven’t already mailed out those Christmas cards or Christmas gifts you better hurry up, especially if you want them delivered in time for the holidays.

You have plenty of options when it comes to shipping, but the longer you wait, the more you’ll pay.

“Cost is important but I think this time of the year it’s more important that it gets there on time,” said Corey Godine of Seven Hills.

At the FedEx Office store in Independence, they’re gearing up for a busy week.

“This week we expect it to be very busy here in the center but the FedEx network overall the busiest week was last week,” said Jennifer Dellinger, FedEx store manager.

Tuesday, December 17 is the last and final day to ship via FedEx Ground to ensure your package arrives in time for Christmas; the absolute latest date to ship to ensure your package arrives in time for Christmas is December 23, but you’ll pay a little more.”

“If you are a true procrastinator, we offer same-day delivery service in 10 or 15 major markets. We actually launched that service in Cleveland,” Dellinger said.
