He put a ring on it! Kelly Rowland has finally confirmed that she’s engaged to her manager, Tim Witherspoon.
“The X Factor” judge, real name Kelendria Rowland, publicly let the cat out of the bag during a pretaped segment of “The Queen Latifah Show” that’s to air Wednesday.
“He put a ring on it,” the Destiny’s Child alum said, showing off her colossal cushion-cut ring to the studio audience and quoting Beyonce’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It).”
“It’s been a while,” the 32-year-old added. “We’ve kept it very, very low — for years, to be completely honest.”
As for the proposal, well, Rowland admits that she’s succumbed to the ways of technology and conveniences of long-distance relationships.
“He asked me first on Skype, and I was like, ‘We’re so far away from each other!'” she said.
