If you don’t know yet how you will ring in the New Year, we have the latest information on plans for a party in Cleveland’s Public Square.

Organizers hope this becomes a tradition.

The party in Public Square starts at eight on New Year’s Eve.

There will be food trucks, bands, a beer garden and fireworks at midnight.

TV star and Cleveland’s own Drew Carey will host the event.

The area will be gated off and no backpacks are allowed.

Organizers said there will be extra security, taxis and suggest you come down early on New Year’s Eve before things fill up inside the gates.

The event is free, but you can buy food from vendors at the event.
