A boil alert has been issued for the city of Medina.
Due to Avon Lake Municipal Utilities not being able to supply the necessary water to the city’s elevated water tanks, the city experienced low water pressure, which made a boil alert necessary.
Residents are being told to boil water that will be used for drinking for one minute.
The boil alert will be in effect until further notice.
