On Monday, Jan. 20, while co-hosting ABC’s The View— alongside Whoopi Goldberg, Jenny McArthy, Sherri
Shepherd and Barbara Walters– the topic of women cheating with married men came up.
In what could have been an awkward moment, the R&B singer currently starring in the Broadway show, “After
Midnight,” chose to weigh in and share her opinion.
“If that is the situation, run, run as fast as you can, [you] can’t catch me, I’m the Ginger Bread man,” she said.
The American Idol alum, who is a church girl at heart, grew up in High Point, NC, ministering gospel songs with
her family.
