“A lot of athletes, we don’t know [our purpose] when we’re playing,” Strawberry says.

Former Major League Baseball slugger Darryl Strawberry is planning to open a drug rehabilitation center in Florida.

Strawberry, who famously struggled with alcohol and drug addiction during his playing career, will open the center in St. Cloud, Fla., and offer treatment to professional athletes and the general public.

The 51-year-old is now an ordained minister.
