A community college in northeastern Ohio plans to offer guaranteed tuition to new full-time students.

Cuyahoga Community College says it will start the new programs in the fall.

The school says students will pay the same tuition for three years if they take at least 12 credits per semester and meet other requirements.

A school spokesman tells The Plain Dealer newspaper in Cleveland that the college estimates about 3,500 students could take part.

Cuyahoga Community College has several campuses in the Cleveland area.
